Famous singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam have surprised everyone with the fees they charge for singing at weddings. Last week, Ayesha Talpur, daughter of Faryal Talpur, got married. The wedding got a lot of attention on social media. Both Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif sang their popular songs at the wedding on special request of the guests.
Senior anchor Naeem Hanif recently shared some interesting details about how much these singers charge. According to him, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan charges around 1.25 crore rupees to perform at a wedding in Pakistan. If he performs in another city, the fee becomes higher. For weddings abroad, his fee can almost double.

Naeem Hanif said that Atif did not usually perform at weddings in the past. About seven years ago, Malik Riaz invited him to sing at a relative’s wedding. He asked for 1.5 crore rupees, and Malik Riaz paid him. After that, he started performing at weddings and now he charges around 2 to 2.5 crore rupees per wedding.
The anchor also shared that famous Sufi singer Abida Parveen usually does not perform because of health issues. But if she does attend a wedding, she charges around 60,000 to 70,000 dollars.
