Saudi Arabia executes Pakistani national Naqab Khan after he was found guilty of attempting to smuggling drugs into the Kingdom, Ministry of Interior confirms.

Saudi authorities have carried out the death penalty of a Pakistani national after he was found guilty of attempting to drug smuggling into the Kingdom.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the executed man has been identified as Naqab Khan. Officials stated that he was arrested on charges of bringing illegal drugs into Saudi Arabia.
After his arrest, investigation authorities gathered evidence against him. The ministry confirmed that the accused confessed to the crime during the legal proceedings.

Following the completion of all required legal procedures, Naqab Khan was presented before a Saudi court. The court reviewed the evidence and his confession before issuing the death sentence.

The punishment was later carried out in accordance with Saudi law.
Saudi authorities have reiterated that drug smuggling is considered a very serious crime in the country and carries strict penalties, including capital punishment. Officials stated that the Kingdom remains fully committed to combating drug trafficking and protecting society from the dangers of narcotics.
