Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that all reported cases of illegal property occupation, commonly known as qabza, in Islamabad will be resolved within seven days. He said that the Deputy Commissioner will personally handle these cases to make sure justice is done quickly.
He clearly stated that the government will not allow anyone to take another person’s property illegally. Mohsin Naqvi assured overseas Pakistanis that their land, houses, and investments are safe. He said that every complaint will be taken seriously and decided in a fair and transparent way.
The Interior Minister said that Pakistanis living abroad send money to the country after working very hard, and the government fully understands their concerns. He added that protecting their property is very important and strict action will be taken against illegal occupants.
Mohsin Naqvi also said that the government is trying to create a safe, peaceful, and investor-friendly environment. This will help build trust among investors and encourage overseas Pakistanis to invest more in Pakistan without fear.

He further explained that this decision will help reduce delays in legal cases related to property matters. It will also improve the image of the government and show that authorities are serious about protecting citizens’ rights.
