IPL’s most expensive foreign player All-rounder Cameron Greenstreet has been ruled out of Cricket Australia due to an injury.
Green was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 25.20 crore. He becomes the most expensive player and the most expensive foreign player in the IPL. Green has not bowled in the recent KKR and Mumbai Indians matches and KKR are desperate to lose this high-scoring match.
When asked about Green, KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane said, “Thankfully, we got to know from Cricket Australia,” he said, adding that the board decides on the fitness of an Australian player.

A Cricket Australia spokesperson said Green was given a precautionary leave due to an injury and KKR have informed him. Green is in India for bowling training and is expected to resume in 10-12 days, assuming his health improves.
