Smart Shocking Innovation: 13-Year-Old’s Milk Overflow Detector Solution

Milk boiling over is a daily headache in almost every home, but a 13-year-old student has found a smart solution. A small idea with a big impact.

Milk Boiling Over? A 13-Year-Old’s Simple Invention Ends This Daily Kitchen Problem

Milk is a great blessing from Allah that is used daily in almost every household. It is common to use milk for tea, coffee, it for babies or in cooking. Milk is boiled before use to kill the germs present in it and to purify it.

But in most homes, a problem occurs repeatedly. When it is placed on the stove, some family member is present in the kitchen, but as soon as there is a slight distraction or some other task comes up, the milk suddenly boils and spills out of the pot. It seems as if the milk has been waiting for this very moment.

Boiling milk causes two major disadvantages:

1) The milk is wasted, which results in a loss of money.

2) The second is that the stove and kitchen become dirty, which is difficult and time-consuming to clean later.

Now a very simple and excellent solution to this common problem has emerged.

Vaidya, a 13-year-old student from Hyderabad, Deccan, India, has developed a special device that warns before milk boils. The device is called “Milk Overflow Detector”. Surprisingly, only 1,500 rupees were spent on making this device.

This device is based on modern technology and is equipped with an IR (infrared) sensor. When milk is heated, a certain type of temperature change occurs before it boils. As soon as the milk starts to overheat, the IR sensor immediately senses this change.

As soon as the sensor detects the temperature of the milk, it sends a signal to the circuit. After this signal, the buzzer attached to the device sounds. Hearing the buzzer, the people in the kitchen immediately understand that it is about to boil, and they turn off the stove in time. In this way, it is saved from spilling out.

Another special feature of this device is that it runs on a mobile power bank. This means that this device continues to work even if there is no electricity in the house. Therefore, this device can be very useful for every home.

Vaid said that the reason for this idea was his personal experience. He had seen many times that his mother would put milk on the stove while busy with other household chores, and it would boil and fall out. One day, he thought, ‘Why not make a device that would alert him before the milk boiled?’

As soon as the idea came to him, Vedat headed to the electronics market. From there, he bought an infrared sensor, circuit components, wires, and a mobile power bank. When he got home, he used the science and robotics knowledge he had learnt in school to assemble all the components and create a complete system.

Vedat’s parents say that their son has been very curious since childhood. He used to open toys and look at the parts inside them and try to understand them. He had a passion for making new things by doing small experiments from the beginning. They say that they are very proud of their son for this successful invention.

his invention shows that age does not matter when it comes to creativity. With a simple idea and basic knowledge, even a child can solve everyday problems. Vaidya’s device not only saves it and time but also inspires other children to think differently. Such innovations prove that the future belongs to young, curious minds.

“Big ideas don’t always come from big people, sometimes they come from curious minds.”
