A woman and a man were killed in separate incidents in Khairpur, with police confirming that both cases appear to be so-called honor killings. The tragic events took place in different areas of the district.
According to police officials, the first incident occurred near Pir Goth in the area of Kati Zaman Shah, where the accused allegedly opened fire and killed a woman identified as Allah Wari.
In a separate incident in Kot Mir Muhammad, a man named Ghulam Hussain Teghani was shot and killed.

Police stated that the bodies of both victims were shifted to the hospital to complete legal formalities and post-mortem examinations. Initial investigations suggest that both murders were carried out in the name of so-called honor.
Authorities have launched further investigations into the cases and are conducting raids to arrest the suspects involved.
