Under this scheme, farmers are given interest-free loans so that farming work becomes easier, time is saved and production is increased.

This scheme provides a maximum loan of Rs 3 crore
This loan is provided through Bank of Punjab
The loan is interest-free
The applicant has to pay at least 20 percent of the cost of the machine himself
Who can benefit from this scheme?
This loan is for the following people:
Farmers
Agricultural service providers
Entrepreneurs
These people can purchase modern agricultural machinery imported from Pakistan or abroad. The scheme includes 12 types of high-tech agricultural machinery.
Loan repayment method
The loan repayment period is 5 years
The amount will have to be repaid in 20 equal installments
Each installment will be paid after three months (Quarterly)
No installment will have to be paid in the first 6 months (this is called the grace period)
Requirements for applying
The applicant must:
Must be a resident of Punjab.
Must be between 21 and 65 years of age
Must have National Identity Card (CNIC)
Mobile number must be registered in your name
Farmer must have at least 5 acres of land
Service provider must be registered with the Agriculture Department
Business person must have NTN number
No prior defaulted loan
Ability to pay installments

Each person can avail this scheme only once
The machine cannot be sold or transferred to anyone for 5 years
The applicant will have to undergo training in using the machine
Agriculture Department and bank officers will conduct inspections from time to time
The Punjab government will pay the interest on the loan itself

Loan Approval and Disbursement
The bank will review the application
After approval, the applicant will deposit 20% of the amount
The bank will pay the remaining amount directly to the machine supplier
It is mandatory to pay the installments on time, there may be a penalty for delay
