Job Overview:
The Production Manager will lead paper bag manufacturing operations by managing daily production activities, supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role involves collaborating with procurement, logistics, and sales teams while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Production) or related field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing management, preferably in paper or packaging
Skills:
Production planning, machinery operations, workflow optimization, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge (plus), leadership, problem-solving, communication, MS Office proficiency, ERP/MRP knowledge (advantageous)

- Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations
- Ensure production targets, quality, and timelines are met consistently
- Supervise production staff, including operators and technicians
- Implement quality control measures to meet client specifications
- Maintain machinery and coordinate preventive maintenance
- Optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Prepare production reports and analyze performance metrics
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams
- Train and develop production staff
