According to a recent report, a very large number of people in the UK are now facing severe poverty. These people do not earn enough money to cover basic needs like food, energy bills, and clothing.

The report also says that although the overall poverty rate in the UK has stayed around 21 percent in recent years, life has become much harder for people who are already poor. Rising living costs have made daily survival more difficult.
It further explains that low-income families are still struggling even after four years of the inflation crisis. Many people are forced to skip meals, fall behind on household bills, and take loans just to survive.
