The Legal Aid Authority and the Authority (LAJA) are under the auspices of the Ministry of Law and Justice of Pakistan. It provides legal aid to those who are in need. LAJA’s mission is to ensure that everyone is assured and protected of their legal rights.
Job Overview:
Laja has considered various contract jobs at its head office in Islamabad. The posts range from senior management to support staff. There are openings for finance, legal aid, IT administration, office management, data entry and support services.Eligible Pakistani citizens can apply through the National Jobs Portal (NJP).
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:
Education:
Literate to Master’s degree in relevant disciplines including Law (LL.B), Finance, Economics, MBA, IT, Computer Science, Commerce, and related fields.
Experience:
Relevant experience ranging from 0 to 10 years depending on the position.
Skills:
Legal expertise, financial management, IT/network administration, MS Office proficiency, typing speed (50 w.p.m for DEO), computer literacy, administrative coordination, and valid driving licenses (for Driver & Dispatch Rider).
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree from recognized institution
- Valid LTV License (for Driver)
- Valid Motorcycle License (for Dispatch Rider)
- Government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC
- Medical Fitness Certificate required upon selection
Responsibilities:
- Handling Finance and Legal Support work
- Supporting IT and Network
- Doing Office and Secretarial work
- Handling Data Entry and Office Records
- Doing Driving, Dispatching and Office Support work
