Senior Pakistani actress Saba Faisal shares her views on changing attitudes of new actors during her appearance on PTV Home’s program Star and Style.
Saba Faisal is a senior actress of Pakistan. She has worked in many famous dramas. People like her acting very much. Recently she came in a program Star and Style of PTV Home. In this program she talked about new actors.
Saba Faisal said that she has learned a lot from her older and more experienced actors. Earlier, it used to happen that older actors used to teach younger actors and explain to them how to act. But now this has decreased. Today’s new actors are not much interested in learning.
She said that when she goes on set for shooting and new actors come, she doesn’t talk to them much. If a big actor tries to teach them something or point out their mistakes, some new actors get offended and say, “Who are you?” They think they already know everything.

Saba Faisal said that today’s actors come prepared, but they do not know some essential rules of the set. For example, many actors do not even know where to stand in front of the camera and how to walk or move. This is called footwork.
He added that earlier actors used to sit with big actors and rehearse and learn from them. Now this habit is decreasing. According to Saba Faisal, it is very important in acting that the actor stays in his place and shows emotions through his eyes and body gestures. If the actor keeps changing his place again and again, the acting does not look good.
